The United States

Here is my own personal conviction:

We should not be rejoicing over war; the prospect of more people filling Hell is horrifying.

This is not a biblical war; this is not a holy war, this is really not our war, and the best thing we can do as Christians is pray that the Lord himself ends it, that the Gospel continues to be preached and our leaders (of both nations) learn how to pray for their enemies, turn to God and not man for help and salvation, and above all else, repent of pride (Proverbs 16:18)

~This is not a war that must be won, before Jesus Christ can return (as is being told to some of our troops by certain Christian and non-Christian Zionists.)

~We are not living in the Old Testament, nor in Medieval times: This is not a crusade!

~The secular nation of Israel is not a magical talisman, which, when rubbed the right way, will automatically guarantee God’s blessing on any nation that supports it.

This way of thinking stems largely from a misunderstanding of Genesis 12:3; a failure to read and understand Paul’s teaching  on the Jewish people in Romans Ch.9-11; and a misconstrued idea of eschatology - that Jesus will return to some kind of Judeo-Christian utopia: However, Scripture shows us that the world will not get better before the return of Christ; and the Church taking dominion - the seven mountains of influence - territory - cannot be found anywhere in the Scriptures on the end times! This ideology is more akin to Islam and certain factions of Judaism, and has absolutely no place in Christianity!}

Note: If we truly want to support Israel, it must not be for us…what we can get out of it: It must be for right, godly and Biblical reasons. (The twisting of Genesis 12:3, has done so much damage here…)

In the midst of wars and rumors of wars, we need to find our Biblical perspective and take our stand firmly upon it.

Amos 8:11-15 gives us the assurance that once Israel is established in the land, they will never be uprooted again. Therefore we must conclude that Iran, although a thorn in Israel’s flesh, is not a threat to their very existence.

If the Lord planted them there, he will keep them according to his own sovereign plan.

According to the scripture, Israel will continue to have trouble in the Land, until the great and final “Jacob’s trouble”, mentioned in Jeremiah 30 & Matthew 24:15-22.

And, as long as they remain in this season of blindness towards Messiah, the Lord’s hand of discipline will be upon them - the scriptures support nothing else. It is our role to pray for them, bless them and help them whenever possible; but it is not our role to fight their wars for them. This is something that only the Lord can and will do. And, in his good time, when the time of the gentiles (according to Romans 11:25) is complete, he will do exactly that! -

He will fight for them - and of course, he will win;

so that all of Israel will know, who their Savior truly is! (And btw: it is not the United States of America)

Other scriptures on Israel’s discipline and full salvation: Hosea 6; Zechariah 12

So, what we are now left with, is the US being goaded into fighting a war, based upon an ongoing nuclear threat that, so far, has not materialized, and while China and Russia sit back and look on. What if (and this is only my opinion) this entire war is a trap to wear America down, fighting an enemy that every Christian should know, cannot be defeated by any physical force? We learned this after 9/11, where the enemy spread us out so thin, that we could no longer continue. That was Satan’s strategy then, and nothing has changed - except the spark that lit the fuse.

I speak as an American citizen, who deeply loves her country - but first and foremost as a Christian:

~We cannot ignore Proverbs 16:18 - nor James 4:13-16.

We are not the peace keepers of the world.

~Looking through the eyes of Scripture, I do not believe that it is in any nation’s best interest to become like America (see Deuteronomy 8; Matthew 19:16-24);

~It is not in our best interests, nor is it our job, to “make Iran great again” {if we as Christians are thinking this, then I would politely say that we have taken our focus off the Lord that we serve! See John 18:36; Colossians 3:1-4; Matthew 6:19-33; Hebrews 11:9-10; 13-16}

It is in the best interest of every nation - including both Israel and Iran - that they be saved! This is our role and should be our prayer and sole message as Christians. Or, have we forgotten? Our kingdom is not of this world.

For the people of Iran - they must find their lives - not in this world - but in Jesus the Messiah!

Is this war even legal?

As  far as our Constitution is concerned, Israel is no different than any other nation, in that we cannot go to war on their behalf without it being officially declared by Congress, (according to Article I) acting on behalf of We the People. This declaration has, so far, not been given; yet, somehow, we’re at war! So this has become a serious matter. If we are undermining our Constitution, then we truly are undermining our nation.

I do not know who, or what, has our President by the ear right now - but I, for one, would like my President back, looking out for the American people, as he should be; not waging a war 7000 miles away, on behalf of a political agenda that does not acknowledge Jesus as Messiah,  against an enemy that shape shifts like smoke (this is what Islam is!)

I pray for this; I pray that God will end this war!

I believe we (our nation) are being used - in a political Zionist agenda. I no longer recognize my President…as if he has been h-jacked by a foreign power. I pray most sincerely and earnestly that I am wrong in my assertions.

Above all else, I pray that when American boots do tread the soil of places like Iran, it will be as ministers of the Gospel: This is what I believe America’s true calling and destiny is - for the fulfillment of Matthew 24:14: - Here is the true “greatness” of a nation. May the Lord be with us all.

The Final Reformation Volume III Ch.2 The Beautiful Remnant of America - Part 2

    The Beautiful Remnant of America Part II  So they shall fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come like a rushing stream, which the wind of the Lord drives.   Isaiah 59:19 Before continuing, please ensure that you have first read Chapter 1 ~ The Olive Press   i ~ The “Hidden” Remnant   “What is a tree without its roots? Roots expand underground in the darkness - the hidden place that the tree may stand firmly grounded through the storm. This expansion does not come without faith, time, patience and endurance, and goes entirely un-noticed and un-acclaimed,  because it takes place underground . And yet we know that this expansion is essential to the life and health of the tree.  So it is for the Church in this hour… “What is a house without its foundations?  A house built quickly- on sand  - will not stand - but the one who patiently and deliberately builds his ...

The Final Reformation Vol.3, Ch.8 ~ The Love of a Motley Crew

~From now on, whenever I write “the clock was ticking” or words along that line, I am referring to the winding down of the time of the Gentiles spoken of by Paul in Romans 11:25 - and the lead up to “ Jacob ’s trouble”, spoken of in Jeremiah 30:7 (which I believe to be the (7) or 3 1/2 years of great tribulation) *With regards to the differing views on eschatology, I can only write what I saw, enforcing it, as best I can, with the Word of God. You the reader, may or may not agree.* ~~~ {In 1607, landed at Cape Henry, Virginia and surrounded by a motley crew of sailors, ex-criminals and prospectors, the Rev. Robert Hunt kneels under a seven foot cross, brought with him from England and prays the following: “Father, we come to you in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Savior to dedicate this land to the glory of God…Father in Heaven, we consecrate this Cross.   We consecrate ourselves to the Great Commission , making disciples of all the people of this new land.   We consec...

The Final Reformation Vol.3, Ch.14 The Unraveling to the End

  The Final Dispensation   Romans 8: 35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?  36  As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long;  we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  38  For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,  39  nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Isaiah 52:7 This picture - taken from the movie “ War Games ”, is as close as I can get, to describe the John 12:24 glory over the nations: the overlapping and arching lines are the Body of Christ as we go out to preach the Gospel; the dark background is the evil of the anti christ regime and the wh...
