The Elephant in the Room

The Elephant in the Room - Part 1

In view of the most recent fall from grace, of yet another celebrity Christian, I have finally, by God’s grace, been able to write:

So, why are so few Christians speaking out in defense of the victims here?                                                            Why are so few offering prayers, support and condolences to them and their families?                                           Why are we still partying and “having revival” instead of weeping, mourning and crying out to God, because of the state of the Church? We are all the same Body.            Why is it that whenever yet another Christian celebrity, who has ascended beyond the radar of accountability, is caught in grievous sin, the Church as a whole seem to either bury their heads in the sand - or cluster around that celebrity, offering prayer, support and condolences, with NOTHING said about their victims? Caring more about his rehabilitation, only so we can put him back on the platform - that the euphoria and impression of revival will not be interrupted? (Just a honest question) This is akin to how politicians and the super elites of this world behave!                                                 (And, of course I am not saying we shouldn’t pray for those who have fallen!) But, do we not realize that the world is looking on here? Do we not see what a terrible reproach is being brought on the Name of Christ because of the mountain of celebrities we have built in the House of God? We are not supposed to look ANYTHING like this world - but more and more, we are mirroring their culture and mentality EXACTLY.

Celebrity after celebrity is falling; and more and more people - some, whistle blowers from within…others, victims of their abuse - are now, through people like Mike Winger, attempting to pull back the curtain of this “Wizard of Oz” charade, that these Christian elites don’t want us to pay any attention to: And yet, in the main branches of media Christianity, they still continue to prop up this house of cards.

{Stop twisting Romans 11:29 out of its original context! We are given clear instructions in the Epistles, as to how, in the Ecclesia, such sin is to be dealt with.}

I speak from experience here: As one who fell victim to the bullying, manipulation and humiliation of “apostles” and “deliverance ministers”…I have watched with my own eyes, as shattered, damaged, broken human beings, searching for answers, end up fleeing the Church - and Christianity - because of so called “deliverance ministry”; I have seen bullying, overbearing and heavy handed tactics…unable to discern the difference between a demon and a person’s soul, they trample all over these precious ones…like stampeding bulls in a china shop! And I have witnessed these same “ministers” close ranks, when I attempted to confront them on this issue. I still grieve over this…

Do we honestly believe that the Lord will return to his Church in this state of hubris, greed and self centeredness..? That any kind of global awakening will happen in the midst of this celebration of idolatry? Because this is what it is.                                            There will be pockets of revival - as there always has been - because the Lord is merciful: But if we think this house of cards, that most of us - including me - have helped to build, will stand through the time of testing that is coming upon this Land, we are deceiving ourselves.

O Lord, how long shall the wicked,
    how long shall the wicked exult?

They pour out their arrogant words;
    all the evildoers boast.

They crush your people, O Lord,
    and afflict your heritage.

They kill the widow and the sojourner,
    and murder the fatherless;

and they say, “The Lord does not see;
    the God of Jacob does not perceive.”

Understand, O dullest of the people!
    Fools, when will you be wise?

He who planted the ear, does he not hear?
He who formed the eye, does he not see?

He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke?
He who teaches man knowledge—

the Lord—knows the thoughts of man,
    that they are but a breath.

psalm 94:3-11

It is time to get honest with the Lord; and with each other. It is time to stop trying to “manufacture revival”…time to stop following and supporting these so called pillars of the Church, who are forever promising, yet never producing - except for themselves.

It is time to start honestly and earnestly “humbling ourselves in prayer…seeking his face…turning from our wicked ways (we are almost all guilty of idolatry) …so that, by some chance, the Lord will hear from Heaven - and heal our Land.

Scripture:

Matthew 7:22-23

Luke 22:24-27

John 2:13-16

2Chronicles 7:13-14

“Many people want a seat at the table Jesus would have overturned.” Missionary Spencer Smith.

May God have mercy on us all

{As always, here is a disclaimer: Obviously I am not talking about every charismatic leader, every prophet, healing minister, deliverance minister, singer, musician or everyone who has any kind of media platform. People who know me, will hopefully realize this, at this point. I have many friends who are anointed in healing and deliverance and who glorify the Lord in their work for him: My prayer is that the Lord will use them yet more and more!}

“I simply assert that a simple layman armed with Scripture is to be believed more than a pope or council without it.” Martin Luther, Protestant Reformer - from the Leipzig debate, 1519

But we could easily bring this into the present day…because almost the exact same thing is happening: We could assert that anyone: a congressman, teacher, factory or restaurant worker, doctor, nurse, cleaner, care giver, mother, father, etc, who is armed with the accurate version of Scripture, is to be believed more than any so called “apostle” or “prophet” who isn’t. Why do we in our culture, follow so much the words of people - which are constantly evolving, who prophesy ambiguously and after the fact and who are forever moving the goalposts of their own predictions - instead of following the Word of God?

{If these people were truly armed with Scripture, they would understand the ecclesiastical order for the Church, as laid out by Paul and the other Apostles; and adhere to it.}

Exodus 20:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before me.

4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

6 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

The Elephant in the Room - Part 2
I’ve not tagged anyone here…It makes me sick in my stomach to even post this, but I am compelled to do so.

A wild elephant? This is an adulterous relationship, a counterfeit spirit, and the “elephant in the room” that so few in the Church seem willing to confront.

Why does this couple still have a platform?

Why do we continue to believe the lie that “revival”is dependent on a certain elite group of people…that it is dependent upon us at all?

Do we love the Law of God…or the plans of men?
Are we looking for our “revival” or the Lord’s Reformation?

As a watchman I will continue to cry out: the Lord will not contend with this forever: Judgment is coming - and it truly will begin in His House: 1Peter 4:17-18

12 “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.
13 “Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
14 And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power.
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!
16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, “The two will become one flesh.”
17 But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.
18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.
2 Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,
3 not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.
4 He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive,
5 for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?
6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7 Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare of the devil.
Qualifications for Deacons
8 Deacons likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain.
9 They must hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience.
10 And let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless.
11 Their wives likewise must be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, faithful in all things.
12 Let deacons each be the husband of one wife, managing their children and their own households well.
13 For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.
The Mystery of Godliness
14 I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that,
15 if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.
16 Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness:
He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father's wife.
2 And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you.
3 For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing.
4 When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus,
5 you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.
6 Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
7 Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
8 Let us therefore celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people—
10 not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.
11 But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one.
12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?
13 God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”

The Beautiful Remnant of America Part 1

15  “Can a woman forget her nursing child,      that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget,      yet I will not forget you. 16  Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;      your walls are continually before me. Isaiah 49:15-16 This most recent prophecy is part of my “ Fast for Family ”, and again runs parallel with my previous visions - some of which can be read in the footnotes at the end. The Beautiful Remnant of the United States of America  i The unity of baptism : I saw many in America: Many families. They stood as if on the banks of the Red Sea, as Israel under Moses…driven there by the Holy Spirit, perused by the kingdom of the anti-Christ. They had been driven there for Baptism: (See Romans 6:1-14 ) I saw many families. They went down separately…and when they came up they were one: in the Lord and in each other. I realized that this type of unity…the desire and p...

Ch.14 The Unraveling to the End

  Isaiah 52:7 This picture - taken from the movie “ War Games ”, is as close as I can get, to describe the John 12:24 glory over the nations: the overlapping and arching lines are the Body of Christ as we go out to preach the Gospel; the dark background is the evil of the anti christ regime and the white orbs are literally bright white explosions, representative of both Salvation and martyrdom : because in the days I was looking at here, there would not be one without the other. These two things went hand in hand! “ Now   is   my   soul   troubled .  And   what  shall   I   say ?  ‘ Father ,  save   me   from   this  hour ’?  But   for   this  purpose   I   have   come  to  this hour .   Father ,  glorify   your  name .”   Then   a   voice   came   from   heaven :“ I   have   glorified   it , ...

Ch.13 The Unraveling ~ Part III

I saw a world without borders: As if all borders between nations (at least, borders as we understand them to be)  had been dissolved  - the anti-Christ system had seen to that…but of course, the Lord was way ahead of him and using it for His purpose and His glory.   I knew that the unraveling was not going to stop until the End. And it would end in the very place where the Gospel first began: Israel   ~ see previous chapter. i To Every Nation And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the world, as a witness to all nations and then the end will come…Matthew 24:14 {From  Kim Clement vision ~ “The Resurrection”: see prefix to ch.3 “Last Call” Kim Clement: “Everybody SHOUT!…there’s a victory!…Shout and clap your hands!” This one final surge against the darkness…God’s “Last Call”…seemed to penetrate everywhere…people started rushing from all over…every tribe and people…even unto the farthest islands of the sea…through the Door that is Christ…and whi...
