Context: Read Ezra ch. 9-10


Ezra10:9 Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin assembled at Jerusalem within the three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month. And all the people sat in the open square before the house of God, trembling because of this matter and because of the heavy rain.


Under such a spirit of conviction and The Fear of The Lord, suddenly superficial things like the weather could no longer hinder the people from coming before His Presence…but this time they came with penitence…they came with humility…they came truly seeking His Face…2Chronicles7:14.


God is giving us time in this nation… to let go of our ways and surrender everything we are, over to His Way (John5:44)

It seems we did not learn these things in the aftermath of 9/11…

we did not learn in the four miraculous years of respite under President Trump…

what will it take for us to learn?…another COVID - or worse?…

God is giving us (the Church in this Land) time…time which we do not deserve - and could never earn: 

What will we do with it? (Zechariah 7:1-10)
