Here is my own personal conviction: We should not be rejoicing over war; the prospect of more people filling Hell is horrifying. This is not a biblical war; this is not a holy war, this is really not our war, and the best thing we can do as Christians is pray that the Lord himself ends it, that the Gospel continues to be preached and our leaders (of both nations) learn how to pray for their enemies, turn to God and not man for help and salvation, and above all else, repent of pride (Proverbs 16:18) ~This is not a war that must be won, before Jesus Christ can return (as is being told to some of our troops by certain Christian and non-Christian Zionists.) ~We are not living in the Old Testament, nor in Medieval times: This is not a crusade! ~The secular nation of Israel is not a magical talisman, which, when rubbed the right way, will automatically guarantee God’s blessing on any nation that supports it.
