 A prayer for our President 

Lord hear our prayers for this beloved; our President & Your anointed. May he now hold even tighter to You than he does that flag:  As much as he loves this country, may he love YOU more. May he trust You enough to now place the Nation in Your Hands, knowing that all authority and strength has come from You, and apart from You, he can do nothing: Give him the courage to release America to You Lord, and allow You to fight this battle.

May he trust you enough to cast his burdens; surrendering all things to You and, like a child, looking to You for everything. 

Father please lead our President in the Way of Truth and Repentance; that he in turn, can lead this nation in repentance, because we have all sinned and fallen short of your Glory (2CHRONICLES 7:14).

Lord steer him away from the snare of alliances with pagan kings (this is a real and present danger Lord), but rather, as the kings of old, teach him that the only alliance that really matters is the one he makes with YOU. 

Father release him from any burden placed upon him by satan or man, (including we Christians- forgive us Lord) and free him from any shame of weakness; teach him that it is only in his weakness that Your Strength can be made perfect; and that man does not live by bread alone, but by Your Words - every one!  

May he recognize that, as gifted as he is, Your  Ways are not his ways; and Your Thoughts, so much higher than his. May he take comfort in this truth and find his rest entirely in You.

Above all, may he and his family learn to know YOU intimately at this hour; may he recognize Who is the Way;  & the Truth;  & the Life;  and CHOOSE LIFE, whatever happens. 

Lord bless him & keep him. Lord heal our land. In Jesus’s Name I pray. 🇺🇸💔❣️✝️
